As per CBSE Circular No. Acad-42/2026 dated 01 July 2026, the following changes in the assessment pattern apply from the current academic year: Internal Assessment weightage increased to 30% for Grades IX and X. Competency-based questions will constitute 40% of board papers. Project work to include one cross-disciplinary project per term. Detailed guidelines will be shared by class teachers during the PTM.
